ACCOUNTANTS & BANKERS CHAPTER COCKTAIL RECEPTION APRIL 5, 2011
The Accountants & Bankers Chapter of ORT America held a special cocktail reception at HSBC USA, N.A. on April 5, 2011 to honor the memory of Marion Wingens, Executive Vice President of HSBC and a founder and board member of the chapter. Over 300 executives from the accounting, banking and apparel communities came together to celebrate Marion's life and professional achievements. Marion's husband, children, mother and brother were on hand to witness the outpouring of love and affection from her colleagues and friends.
Remarks were made by Diane D'Erasmo (HSBC Bank USA, N.A.), Alan Klugman (National Executive Director of ORT America), Dr. Ephraim Buhks (Director of Bramson ORT College and head of ORT Operations USA), George Wendler (Marketing Management Group), Evan Raciti (Marion' son) and Mark Hershey (HSBC Bank USA, N.A.).
Net proceeds from the event will be used to establish the Marion Wingens Scholarship Fund at Bramson ORT College in Forest Hills, Queens and Brooklyn.
